Happy Friday!

Good Morning, everyone.  Boy, it's hot here.  Our evening low was 59.  I just took Logan out to go potty and it's foggy so it feels a little cooler.  It's supposed to be foggy for the next several days.  Usually, when it's really, really hot in the valley we get fog.  Had the fans going all night long.  I know 59 doesn't seem very warm but on the coast, we are almost always cooler than that at night.  We have a cool breeze off the ocean most of the time.

Agility graduation was fun.  There were 24 dogs there.  Logan did pretty well.  He ran in the first group and so he was still excited to be there and there were plenty of distractions and so he made a few errors.  This is the first class where he did the whole five weeks off leash.  We all had a good time.  The next session starts mid-July.

You're probably tired of hearing about Agility.  devil  Sorry.  Ha.  Ha.  Logan is our baby boy and our lives kind of revolve around the little guy!

Well, I should make my protein drink.  I hope that all of you have a good day today.

Good morning Cindy and everyone......

Cindy....I don't mind hearing about Logan and the Agility class. I enjoy your tales about Logan. Pets are like family. Everyone here loves animals!! Never feel like you are talking about it too much!

It is like 66 degrees here right now. It has finally cooled off in the evening for a change. Only a high of 75 for the next couple days then back up again. I don't mind the high temps at all. I just can't handle the high humidity.

I am leaving to go to Bloomington (Minneapolis) to spend time at my daughter's for the weekend.  I am sad that Bella (dog) will no longer be there. She will be missed. Of course I am picking up Kyleigh and taking her with me. Also my grandson, Lucas and his friend will be there for today. This evening Carrie, Greg, Lucas, and his friend are going down to the sailboat. There is a big celebration going on down there this weekend. Carrie and all the kids from the club will be on a float. They have a huge water skiing event and carnival and such. One of these times I may venture down there with them. I can't imagine sleeping on the boat. I get so seasick....I doubt it would work for me. I would have to stay in a motel for sure!!!

I know summers are a busy time for everyone here on OFF. I sure am missing everyone. I hope they stop in for a quick hello now and then. Still keeping all of you in my prayers. Many special prayers as well...Annette, Nancy, Nan, Morgan, Jeannie, Cindi and so on. Love you all!!

Have a wonderful day!! I will stop in as I can this weekend.

Love and many hugs to all....connie d

Hi Cindy and my OFF family:

No, please talk about your dog ... I talk about my cat Juliette enough. She's my baby. I'm glad agility went well.

It is hot here ... 90 degrees but not as humid as yesterday. You could fool me. I spent the morning running around spending my paycheck. Went to Walmart, Staples, Petsmart and still need to go to CVS, but I was so drenched from running in and out of stores and my hot car I had to come home and eat lunch. Got printer ink and an easel for my work ... easel was on clearance so it was only $4 and I should get reimbursed for that anyway. Now I can put the stuff I need to type from on something and save my neck.

When I got home and brought stuff in, I wrenched my back somehow. I've taken a vicodin and a flexeril and have an icepack on my back. I hope it works soon because I have to go to work. I am in a lot of pain. And I didn't sleep particularly well last night ... had several 15-minute snatches where I'd get up coughing. Finally conked out at about 5 a.m. and then slept soundly until 10 a.m. Hope I can make it through tonight without too much pain.

Well, I need to get off of here. Have a good day.

Hello again!

Wow, sorry about all the flooding y'all are having up north!  It's dry and hot here.  Starting to hit in the triple digits.  It was so hot this afternoon that we just went tubin' on the river to cool off.  Oh, that is fun!  One of my favorite summertime things to do.  The water is clear and COLD.  Too cold really, except when it's 100 degrees, and then it feels just fine.

We got our new travel trailer this morning and got it put up at the new storage place.  I didn't take any pictures because I forgot my phone!  But I'm going to post some from the dealership on FB.  They're prolly better pictures than I could take with my phone anyway.

Cooking a very quick supper of corn dogs and baked beans.  Then off to bed!  Benny should sleep like a rock tonight!

Love you all!

Sorry I'm late.  I came on, read the posts, and forgot to post earlier.  Duh!  I've been out of it all week.  The Phillies are in California this week, and the games don't start till after 10 p.m. Eastern time, all week.  Plus, I've been getting up to be out the door before 8:00.  Not sure I'll be able to stay up to watch any of it tonight.  I need coffee right now.

Today, I got to babysit Frankie in the morning.  Colleen and the older kids went strawberry picking.  They picked 15 pounds, coz Colleen plans to make freezer jam.  I then went to the farm, and bought a bunch.  I've been cleaning them since.

I better get going.  Back to cleaning strawberries.

Hugs,

Trish
